I would like to experiment with maqamat, and Scale Workshop seems like a good tool for that. But I need to set every scale manually. I would like to be able to generate maqam scales easily like how I can generate f. e. MOS scales.
AFAIK, maqam scales are composed from genera (jins), so I would like to be able to select some genera and get a scale from them.
I would like also to select a temperament for the maqam (like an EDO or a specific just intonation), but I do not know how exactly maqamat manifest in different temperaments. So I would like that someone knowledgeable of maqamat would let me know what makes sense in this case.

Marking as "help wanted" as I'm not an expert in maqam construction.
Meanwhile you may find New scale -> Stack steps of Scale Workshop 3 useful. Make a collection of jins in a notepad application using relative steps and combine them using copy & paste in SW3.
