I also think color-per-line would be more cool for me personally because it was hard for me to count where exactly do I edit a color in the list; but also I would think a syntax like, for example, {red} and {#e22} to place somewhere inside scale textboxes will be also useful, esp. if there is a default color you don’t need to redefine for each line—maybe. If color selectors at each line will be friendly enough, maybe that’s not needed indeed
friendly color pickers should probably have a handful of predefined colors (including black and white), maybe from a slightly desaturated palette (that’s my opinion but I don’t think I can clarify why I’m against fully saturated colors exactly) and maybe contain colors that the user enters in the global preferences. Or better: all of those quick colors should be user-specified, with an initial default of that white-black-desaturated palette
