State topic for input device

First of all thanks for the great plugin, works like a charm so far for my thermostat hack.
The only thing I came across is the input device, which does not support a state topic at the moment. I would have tried adding it on my own but I'm a complete beginner in coffee script.
Would be great if you can consider this.
