Hello Will,

Thanks for your message and research work on this issue.
libwww is community maintained. If someone submits a patch
to this issue, I or some other maintainer will commit it.
Other than that, your message is archived in the mailing list.

W3C doesn't do any active work on libwww since some years ago.
