What is Fosshost

Fosshost (https://fosshost.org/) is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide infrastructure services for open source projects. The organization provides hosting to projects like GNOME, Xubuntu, and Debian.

Why is this a big deal

This means this covers at least one of the most expensive parts of the open source project, the next being paying for volunteers and the developers to keep maintaining this project. Our project is close to launch so this will help us greatly in maintaining what matters most.

Of course we're still doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes to get the site up and running, so the hosting side isn't visible yet, but stay tuned when it goes online!
