Currently, the DC-link model is an ideal voltage source. For primary control investigations, in particular virtual synchronous generator (VSG) approaches, it might be interesting to extend the DC-link model to a more flexibel one, e.g.
realy modeling the DC-link capacitor connected to an ideal voltage source by an RL-impedance
to investigate the transient DC-link voltage drop. This could be also used to evaluate on the appropiate sizing of the DC-link capacitor in order to enable fast VSG-style responses to load changes.
