I installed it and it doesn't work, your plugin sucks. (not a real question)
Did you closely follow the installation video? Did you download the correct version? If the (honest) answer to those questions is 'yes' you can submit an issue and I'll try my best to help you.
Can you create this overlay for me?
Generally the answer is no. I made a tool, which you can use to create your own overlays. If you run into issues with that (after watching the tutorial video for it) feel free to ask me though.
Can you add this feature?
Unless it's very trivial I don't plan on adding anything after 5.0. You can still submit a request, although I can't guarantee anything.
Why doesn't my gamepad work?
First of if you're on windows, your gamepad has to work with XInput (Microsoft's API for gamepads), basically it has to be an xbox gamepad or mimic one. If you're using a dualshock you'll have to use a special tool, which mimics an xbox controller (e.g. DS4 Tool, DS4Windows). If you're on linux it should work out of the box, if the mappings are incorrect you can go (inside obs) to Tools > input-overlay settings > Gamepad bindings:
This dialog let's you configure the bindings for each gamepad button. It's using xbox gamepad buttons, but you can just replace Y with a triangle, X with a square etc. to create a dualshock overlay.
Does this work on macOS?
Yes and no. The only dependency I use is compatible with macOS, but I currently do not have the time to port it to macOS.
