The bot never followed up on these. Which is the prerequisite step to unassignment which is extremely important on abandoned issues.

This must be diagnosed and fixed because bounty hunters are reserving tasks, not completing them, and the tasks remain unassignable for all the others in the DevPool. This means that tasks can be forgotten about and never completed. Alternatively this means that repository maintainers have to comb through all of the assigned issues and manually follow up and unassign. Obviously that isn't a better choice.
