Add a Proof of Possession (PoP) mechanism to demonstrate that the holder of a verifiable credential is also the subject. This is generally achieved via cryptographic proofs, such as DID-based keys or OAuth PoP tokens, enhancing security and alignment with decentralized identity practices.
