Description

When I Want To Request New Service, I Filled Text Boxes And When I Click Submit
It Gave Me Error That Service Request Exists, And I Checked Service That I Wanted To Put
( It Doesnt Exist lol )

How To Reproduce It

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'https://tosdr.org/en/new_service'
  2. Fill All Stuff ( Wiki and XPath Not Included )
  3. Click Submit
  4. See error

Expected behavior

I Expected To Request Sent Successfully.

This is still an issue.

This is not an issue. What the errors means is, that someone has already created a request for the service. A staff member now needs to verify and add the service. Please be patient.

This needs to be fixed in the UI then. It's unfair to users to have them do their due diligence and search for an existing entry, then spend time filing in the form, entering information on 2 or 3 links, figuring out an appropriate XPath for each of them, only to get a slap in the face in return. If you don't want to surface pending sites in the main service search form, then popping up a warning if a match is detected in the new service entry wizard BEFORE all the information is entered would be next best. The URL is already sanity checked; adding a check on pending entries would be relatively clean from a UI perspective.
