Full width on pattern edit screen and when inserting into a page with Kadence block plugin activated

Description

The block editor switches to full width when creating a pattern.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a new pattern, insert a core column block and add a background color.
2. Block is displayed full screen.
3. Activate a core theme and go back to the pattern edit screen.
4. Block editor is displayed in contained mode.
5. Install Kadence blocks.
6. Insert the pattern into a page.
7. Pattern also displays full width.

Regarding the Kadence blocks, I have new information:

Seems like they spotted an issue with their plugin. The issue with the block displayed in full screen in the pattern block editor is still an issue with GeneratePress, though.
