Assistance Required with USB Joystick Connection

I’ve been struggling with an issue for a week now and could really use your help. I’m having trouble connecting a USB joystick using your library. I've wired the D+ and D- pins to GPIO 16 and 17, and followed all the necessary requirements, but I haven’t been able to get it to work.
