With a lot of events trying to go online this year and speakers broadcasting from home, the TimVideos web site could be a useful place to gather advice for people streaming at home. Some people may have the funds and the space to set up the Numato Opsis board at home, after all, the price of the board is a lot less than what many speakers pay for our travel. Some people may want to try smaller and cheaper products but need to know about the extent to which they are compatible with free software. Example: most of the Blackmagic Design products are not UVC compatible and need a proprietary driver, but their ATEM Mini is an exception, it supports UVC and may be quite useful. There are also a range of game capture devices at very low prices with UVC support, e.g. Elgato, Avermedia and JVA02. It would be interesting to understand how these relate to the TimVideos ecosystem and which of them could be used in place of the Numato Opsis either for online conferences or for devs who don't have the Opsis board.
