[feature request] backup rotation

Hello,

my main use case for this extension is doing backups. Currently I have to handle backup rotation on my side.

Would it be possible to add a feature that allows us to specify the maximum number of backups or how old the backups are allowed to be?

Example: Joplin Backup Plugin

thunderbird: 91.5.0 on ubuntu
iet-ng: 11.1
