Items cannot be deleted automatically

All Digest's autoexpire move items to trash only. Items are marked as deleted only on "clear all" and/or explicit "empty trash" (and actually deleted a month later).

This behaviour is counter-intuitive. It needs to be either explicitly described or modified in a saner way.
