What is the best way to upgrade takipi using this module? We wanted to go from 3.14.5 to the latest version, but it is unclear whether or not this module will do that, automatically or otherwise. The docs on the takipi site indicate that this should happen automatically, but we did not get that behavior.

Thanks! -j

@jsnrth as stated in the Limitations section of thw module documentation (https://github.com/takipi/takipi-puppet#limitations) there is no support other than installing the latest stable version provided by Takipi.

That said, I might get the time to contribute a takipi::upgdade class or a $version attribute to specify the desired Takipi version, but I cannot commit to a specific ETA.

Hopefully during this weekend.

PRs are always welcomed by the community,

A workaround for you would be to either manually or preferably via Puppet instruct the removal of the takipi package, then the module will ensure the installation of the package version currently provided by Takipi.

Thanks @pmoust, I overlooked the Limitations section of the readme. -j
