Treats different volumes as the same?

I just realized that the script treats all volumes of an instance as the same volume.
An instance that has 2 disks attached has daily snapshots of both disks. The script seems to pick one randomly, and deletes the other if its set to leave just one snapshot for that particular day.

Is this by design?
