Hi, I'm Sam! Outside of general OSS contributions here and there, I've been a @Homebrew maintainer since 2020 (and a contributor before).

I spend most of my Homebrew time focusing on the brew livecheck command, which fetches information from upstream sources to identify new package versions. Besides working on the livecheck command itself (and its strategies, documentation, etc.), I maintain livecheck blocks in formulae/casks (adding them as needed, fixing them when they break, removing them when no longer needed, etc.).

Over the years, livecheck has matured from a small side project to something that maintainers/contributors use on a regular basis as part of keeping packages up to date. We've made some great progress in that time but there's still plenty to be done (and I have a very long to-do list).

The work that I do helps to support day-to-day tasks of Homebrew's core/cask maintainers and contributors, which benefits its many users. Any funds from sponsorship help to support me as I continue working on OSS projects like Homebrew.
