option to hide and/or clear search results on Select station page

When looking for a new connection the search results of the previous connection lookup are still there on the Select station page. To access my favorite stations I have to scroll down every time (select departure, destination, via). So there should be a quick possibility to hide or clear the search results, or both (please no pulley menu for that).
