Honey Smelter in the Bee Gun - deleting items

When using the Honey Smelter Bee in the Bee Gun on more than a single ingot on the ground (I did it with 8 but should do the same thing with a full stack), it'll convert the entire "stack" into a single ingot, deleting the rest of the stack. Expected behavior would be to convert one at a time, or convert the whole stack, and not having multiple ingots disappear.
