Apologies that I don't have a better place to log this request , but given the link between Ricoh and Pentax , I hoped the developers involved in this project may have some links back to Pentax :
It seems the Pentax Development SDK that used to be available online for USB connectivity to cameras such as the K1 and k3ii has been removed . I wondered if anyone had any links back to Pentax to request that it be made available in a similar way to that for the Theta ?
Absence of a public SDK for Pentax connectivity really hinders the ability to use Pentax cameras with third party devices and software, such as Astroberry server or Benro Polaris.

I am sorry for your inconvenience. Following is the answer from Pentax camera team.
Pentax Camera SDK was discontinued about a year ago. Also, secondary distribution is strictly prohibited, making it impossible to obtain fresh copies. However, users who got prior to this closure will still be able to use the SDK, without any ongoing support.
Is there any chance at all that you could provide the direct contact details for somebody in that team , so that I can speak with them, to understand what I can and can't do ?
