Package

Flathub

Distribution

Debian Bookworm (KDE)

Describe the bug

Well.. the gui disappeared.

I ran it once, set up a test reminder. Closed it out and now the gui wont show up.
The services are still running as well as the test reminders popped up but no way to get to the interface again.

I tried killing all the services and restarting the gui but still doesnt pop up.

Will reboot (eventually) and try again but I don't tend to reboot often.

To Reproduce

  1. Start gui from fresh install.
  2. Create a test reminder with repeat 2-3 times.
  3. Save.
  4. Close out gui.
  5. Gui doesn't come back when launched.

I may be experiencing the same or similar issue on Linux Mint MATE edition with the v4.0 Flatpak for the app. The first few times I tried opening the app after trying to create a repeating reminder, no GUI appeared and I eventually got something about a connection timeout exception. A look at top showed the server process at 100% of one core. After killing that process, it came up with the next launch attempt, but I got back into that same problem as soon as I tried to save my repeating reminder -- top showed service at 100%, GUI unresponsive. After killing just the server process while the GUI was still running, the GUI showed an error about the data not being saved. Cancelled and created a new reminder and attempted to save, which seems to have worked and things seem to function normally now with a few repeating reminders set.
