Hi @rduerr! Over at the Environment Ontology, we've started created a wide range of polar classes linked to the work of the Alfred Wegener Institute and others. This includes some ice-related classes, for example EnvironmentOntology/envo#475

Would you like to coordinate development for any overlaps?
