After I add this plugin I'm unable to build my app. It looks like there is some error related to the google play service. I see this in the console:

.../platforms/android/ant-build/AndroidManifest.xml:55: error: Error: No resource found that matches the given name (at 'value' with value '@integer/google_play_services_version').
