I've tried creating a pivot table (2 cat vars) with about 180k records, and Radiant hangs.

Tried:

  • Local machine macOS 10.14.5 with 8GB ram AND Ubuntu server with 32 GB ram
  • loading RData AND copying from global environment

I see the same problem when trying to explore. Have you observed any issues like this?

Sorry, I should say ~2M records with about 180k rows in the pivot.

The likely issue is making a dropdown in the DT table with all the factor levels (i.e., 180K). Any chance you could share the data or else simulate in similar format?
