Can nethogs put the result to a log file and the log file only has the newest log every time?

this a sample like https://github.com/berghetti/netproc, -f, --file "filename" save statistics in file, file name is optional,
default is 'netproc.log'

there is nethogs -t which you can pipe to a file, though that isn't really meant for machine-processing
