Way to disable blur behind dialogs

UI is pretty nice looking. I often work over VNC, and animations and redraws of big parts of the screen (especially animated, and hard to compress) are making things very slow.

I found animations can be disabled in the settings, and that make it now very smooth to use over VNC, but still various popups, like settings, alert over overview, new silence, do perform a CSS blur of the things behind. Not only it is heavy on the CPU (the machine has no hardware acceleration), but also on a VNC content transfer.

Would be nice to be able to switch this blur off, and do not apply any CSS filter (not even darkening).
