Mesa Visualization: Model parameters update only after "Reset"

If I change the value of some model parameters (e.g. via a slider), they get updated only after clicking on the "Reset" button.

Is this intended behavior?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start the model forest_fire
2. Open the Mesa Visualization in a browser http://127.0.0.1:8521/
3. Set the value of Tree density to 0.17 via the slider
4. Do NOT click on the "Reset" button
5. Click on the "Start" button

Expected behavior:

A simulation with Tree density 0.17 is running.

Actual behavior:

A simulation with Tree density 0.65 (the default value) is running.

Suggestions:

I suggest implementing one of these:

• A) Update the model parameters, as soon as a value has been set via the UI.
• B) Add some info to the UI indicating that there are "unsaved" (or "unsent") changes. And telling the user that you need to click on "Reset" to update the parameters.
• Further ideas? 💡
