Formatting applied to any header row applies to all on subsequent pages

I have a table with :header => 3. Within the before_rendering_page block, I have the following formatting:

page.row(0).borders = [:top, :right, :bottom, :left]
page.row(0).border_width = [3,1,1,1]

On the first page of the table, that formatting only applies to the very first row, but when the header rows are formatted on the second page, that formatting applies to all 3 rows. Is multi-row headers behaving as if one row intended?
