In MacOS the PP file is saved under "root" -directory by default

I keep saving versions of the current PP file under a new name.
This gives the option of accessing older versions. (I work with MacOS)

If I want to save a new version, the root directory is always selected by default.
I then have to select the much deeper directory for saving the PP file each time. Which is very annoying.

For backups, there is the option of specifying any directory as the default directory.

... couldn't you also make a freely selectable directory for the working directory too?
