What happened?

Running a release version on a machine not in developer mode pops up prompt for git. Dismissing doesn't seem to do anything, it works otherwise.

What did you expect to happen?

No prompt for git

How'd it happen?

  1. Ran x
  2. Clicked y
  3. Saw error z

What's your environment like?

  • Pomerium Desktop version:
  • MacOS/arm 13.5.1

Please fill out full issue template including version and reproduction steps. Environment etc.

I was unable to reproduce on a fresh install of v0.22

Darwin bdd-mbp21 22.6.0 Darwin Kernel Version 22.6.0: Wed Jul  5 22:22:05 PDT 2023; root:xnu-8796.141.3~6/RELEASE_ARM64_T6000 arm64

Version: 0.22.0-aa76dfe
CLI Version: v0.22.0

you need a clean MacOS machine without XCode developer tools installed to reproduce.
