TLJH is now releasing proper versions, and 1.0 is now available.
The major changes are listed in the changelog: https://tljh.jupyter.org/en/stable/reference/changelog.html#id2
Probably one of the main items to look at would be the update to JupyterHub 4 (going from version 1 to version 4).
Updating to this version would also make it easier to maintain the Plasma plugin over time, and would help bring fixes and other improvements.
Currently there are some links pointing to a fork of the TLJH repo, which should eventually be removed to use the default version instead:
plasma/ansible/vars/default.yml
