Show loading symbol when comparing two branches with many commits

When comparing two branches with a lot of commits which takes some time - then the changes are shown as "Changes (0)" while comparing.
In my case this took 17 seconds and I thought this was a malfunction.
So better some loading symbol should be displayed instead of "Changes (0)"
