It should be possible to white-list or black-list specific branches of a repository for the execution of any section (or globally). For example, tests may run for all feature/* branches, but only staging and master should trigger deployment to a server system.

This is especially useful for addressing the "Configure your deployment pipelines" dialog (Project Settings > Deployment) on Codeship, which allows you to execute different deployment commands for specific branches.
