with factor analyzer we can include a CFA interface for building neighborhood measurement models as described in this paper

this could add some entireley new research angles focused on (1) temporal changes in underlying latent factors, and (2) spatial CFA in the neighborhood context.

Pinging @ljwolf as we've discussed this a bit, here and there
