Timeout installing dbdev in Supabase local

I'm running the script to install dbdev inside my local (dev) Supabase. The script is copied directly from here https://github.com/supabase/dbdev#install-the-client-in-postgres

When run, the script is coming up with the following error

ERROR: Resolving timed out after 1000 milliseconds (SQLSTATE XX000)

This happens every time the first time that it is run, but if I run the failing statement a second time it works.

The problem is that when I reset my local DB it gets removed again, so I need to reinstall it every time.

I'm wanting to include it into my seed script. But that fails every time.

Is there some way that I can increase the timeout slightly?
