Thanks for the interest, I'll work on it in 4.x branch, but unfortunately it won't be backward compatible. Database file created with nitrite 3.x won't be able to open with 4.x after this change. If you have any automated migration plan in mind that we can incorporate in nitrite so that user can seamlessly upgrade to 4.x (when released), I am all ears. NOTE : I am moving this issue to discussion as it needs further deliberation. |

@theodm I have just committed code in develop with 4.1.0-SNAPSHOT which will automatically upgrade old h2 database to new h2 database format. You can try and provide your feedback. |

I would like to point out, that we need a release of this with an H2 dependency, which is at least of version 2.1.212. My app is currently very heavily impacted by h2database/h2database#3473. It is fixed in h2database/h2database#3474. |
