Remove a coded code

When I code a text with a code (we need to work on our wording) I then can immediately use a control-click/right-mouse-click to select "Remove this code annotation" (is this really a good wording because an annotation is like a code memo for me) and can remove the code (annotation). So far, so good.

BUT…! When I do some other work and select some other text but then deselect it, I then don't get the "Remove this code annotation"-menu-entry anymore.
