dashboard showing incorrect inputs sometimes (spectating snowcar in KO)

In the image, I'm spectating archer who's going in a straight line. But it shows an arrow key pressed (it was showing incorrect inputs for a little while before -- additionally it was showing 100% left/right inputs when archer uses a pad)

This does not appear to be consistent -- sometimes the inputs look right.
