Probably should harmonise on one of these...

Looking at https://www.biblestudytools.com/colossians/2-9-compare.html, modern translations tend to prefer "fullness", and older ones tend to prefer "fulness".

My vote in any case would be for "fullness" - it's my preferred spelling, and it makes it slightly easier to search for, not being a substring of words like "faithfulness".

It should be an easy fix from the command line: sed -i 's/ fulness/ fullness/g' *.db or sed -i 's/ fullness/ fulness/g' *.db

Note, on taking a brief look through a wordlist, there are inconsistencies with fulfil/fulfill(/ing/ment/s), and one instance of "fullilled". Also wil[l]ful/skil[l]ful. Probably separate issues though..

Here are all the uses of fulness/fullness. There is at least consistency within books. Note: Isaiah includes one instance of "faithfullness", which should also be fixed.

Job (Fullness)
20:22 Brought to straits in the fullness of plenty,

\q2 the world and its fulness, it's you who did found them.

96:11

\v 5 Then the throne shall be established by kindness,
\q2 and on it shall sit
\q in the tent of King David in faithfullness

34:1
\v 1 Draw nigh, you nations, and hearken;
\q Let the earth and its fullness hearken,

42:10
\v 10 Sing a new song to the \nd Lord\nd*,
\q let the sea and its fullness roar,

63:1
\v 1 “Who is this that comes from Edom,
\q2 marching in fullness of strength?”

10:10
\v 10 \wj The thief comes only to steal, to kill, and to destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it in greater fullness.\wj*

17:13
\v 13 \wj But now I am to come to you; and I am speaking like this, while still in the world, so that they may have my own joy, in all its fullness, in their hearts.\wj*

Ephesians (Fullness)
3:19
\v 19 and to understand – though it surpasses all understanding – the love of the Christ; and so be filled with all the fullness of God.

Revelation (Fulness)
1:16
\v 16 in his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun in the fulness of its power.

It seems to me that fulness is dying archaism both in American and British English, isn’t it?
