If I clone this repository directly on my computer (LinuxMint 20.3) I can not reproduce the bug. If I use the version provided by the LinuxMint package manager the bug occurs. |
Confirm, the problem is version 0.6.0 in the package manager |
Why the version in this package.json (0.5.2) is older than the version in the package manager (0.6.0)? |
facing the same issue in Linux Mint 21, whatsapp-desktop 0.6.1 (installed from official repos) |
I'm also encountering the same issue. |
Ditto. Been a bug for quite a while and is rather annoying! Wish I could help :-) Linux Mint Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon |
System details
OS: Linux Mint 20.2
App Version: 0.6.1
CPU: Intel Core i5-9300H @ 2.40GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
RAM: 16 GB
Actual behavior
For some reason it writes the first character twice when starting any conversation (inside the chat box)
Step to reproduce the behavior
just open any window and start a conversation. Initially I thought it was a problem with my keyboard input, but I realized that the error is actually only being reproduced in the application.
