Problem description

when newly playing drama episode, default subtitle locale is korean in preference. but english selected in 6.3.5 and 6.3.6

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. select korean subtitle encoding in preference.
  2. play any drama new episode.
  3. default selected language is english.

Expected behavior

default selected subtitle is korean.

TCL / google TV

Operating system version

google TV 12

Application version and app store

6.3.5, 6.3.6

I too am on android 12 with the latest version of NOVA...and when I choose subtitles the wrong subtitles are downloaded 100% of the time. subtitles are completely busted.

local subtitles work fine. but 99% of my content does not have local subtitles.

I am not experiencing the same with french. Could you please share a video or sample preserving internal subs (e.g. ffmpeg -i input.mkv -ss 00:04:39 -to 00:06:00 -c copy -map 0 output.mkv) and let me know your locale and what sub language you chose in nova settings? Alternatively a download link would do too.
