Java code, Debugger stopped on first brakepoint, but it's hard to catch sight for me
On intellij light color theme it looks more obvious

Hi @cloud-66 👋, thanks for your contribution 👍
There are plans to refactor the current line styles for the debug mode and general selections in the editor, but it will take a little more time since there are currently tasks in the Nord project with a higher priority that must be completed first. This is necessary to reduce the large maintenance and effort overhead for me as a maintainer of dozens of ports and other open source projects.
I'm currently not sure which way I'd like to go, but I'll experiment with various color combinations to ensure that it works in all aspects of the IDE, e.g. with the scenario reported in #184. The change will be made in sync (and vice-versa) with the style of general line and selection highlighting which is tracked in the long-time issue #55.
Some examples of other styles cn be seen in the Nord Emacs port where the region highlight style can be customized, except that it won't be possible through some kind of a custom theme configurations because the Jetbrains theme API does not support this (yet).
