Cleanup of files with text/strings to be translated

It may be the case that on all views/pages of the GUI of GPT4All v3.4.x and 3.5.0 there are indeed +450 strings that can be translated, but it is atrocious that the same string should be translated 3 times over because it appears 3 times in the same file.
Some strings are marked as "vanished", however they are also present in XML elements without the "vanished" attribute which supposedly is meaningful/essential for the program's operation - yet, which of those versions is being really used on the UI? why is it necessary to have two of them in the same file? until when? should both of them be translated?
Some other strings are looking like they are aimed at the developers themselves, seemingly placed there since the time of first designing and testing the UI with the corresponding Controls on it, now looking like reminders and comments, like those about the "drawers" - "the drawer for...".
The files are bloated with such incomprehensible (for the translator that is translating for the users) and arcane texts and hints, some of them duplicates.
These files should be streamlined for handling, just like the localdocs database should be optimized for processing - there are thousands of occurrences of each name of the file which snippets come from.
