Is there a way to start GPT4All with 'force metal' enabled?

I understand the reason for not having this enabled by default as it could cause the application to be unresponsive or crash on being opened. But is there a way to run the application with it enabled? For example, as a CLI or config file option? I would like to have the option to override this default behaviour in a way that can be easily controlled from outside of the application, which would mitigate the concerns around leaving it activated. For my default use case, this is desirable and it would be preferable if I didn't need to enable it each time I open the app.
