Is it possible to disable drag select date for Month view(blue box) and add a custom popup when click at day grid ?

I would like to know. Is it possible to integrate a click(single click) event in day grid for month view then It will display a custom popup. As I know there only one event that need drag to select date or double click to select date in a month view. But I only want to do a single click to trigger the event and not allow to do double click and drag to select the date.
