A Nextcloud user creates and maintains a table/spreadsheet A (i.e. rental payments, meter readings, ... for several apartments) and wants other users (i.e. tenants, tax advisers, etc) to have their own spreadsheet B, C, ... where they can see/access only the data belonging to them (i.e. finances, meter readings of their aptmt). When the other user opens his own spreadsheet B in his personal Nextcloud account, the data from the spreadsheet A is automatically updated from the spreadsheet A to spreadsheet B using Nextcloud references, hence without the interaction of the creator of spreadsheet A.
It could be done by creating a spreadsheet A and declare areas accessible by users B, C, etc (or by declaring these areas accessible for spreadsheet B, C, etc) so when a user opens a new spreadsheet B they have a menue where they can select data shared with them or the data is already inserted by user A (creating the table and sharing it). It should also be possible for the creator A to create the spreadsheet B and send it to user B (for their convenience).
Such referencing feature is a comon function in many office packages. However, it works only for one computer (or on very special situations with a web reference, which is practically not usable), on which all spreadsheets are saved.
The great chance I see here is that using Nextcloud, those references can be shared throughout user accounts or shared files using different computers.
