Dear @FrancoisCosta, while this toolbox could definitely be used to process PPG, the routines tailored for that are not currently implemented. Truth is, I had this question several times, so I guess this would be a useful addition. Unfortunately, I've never had the time to implement it myself (and won't have in the near future) 😕
So if someone is willing to give it a try, I would be more than happy to add it (and can help a bit). It should be rather straightforward, the two main steps would be to 1) find appropriate parameters for filtering and 2) extract the "peaks" (or more accurately the peaks of the bumps), from which to derive the heart rate proxy. From there, the code should be rather similar to the one used for ECG.
Hi,
Could this toolbox be used to obtain HRV measures from a PPG signal rather than ECG?
Thanks!
