My phone's placed in my pocket in such a way that the power button often gets accidentally held down causing the phone to reboot and get stuck on the password dialog. It would be nice if it's possible to add a reasonable default timeout to the password dialog to prevent the phone from overheating on the dialog.

Are you talking about the password to decrypt data? Or the TWRP decrypt password?

I wouldn't think we'd have control over the former. For the latter, I totally agree, and will look into it.

Also, be careful about constant power button holding. The way Huawei made this phone leaves it vulnerable to the buttons becoming permanently depressed. Happened when I used a case that was malformed.

I'm talking about the "encrypted phone" password dialog that MultiROM displays when the phone boots. Thanks for the warning.
