Script recording optimisation

It would be great if the recorder could optimise scripts, for example creating a variable for an element which is used multiple times. More of a nice-to-have than essential, but when I recorded some scripts yesterday I found myself doing this by hand.

[I.M.] I agree. There are commercial tools which provide this functionality. Another option would be to assign an element to a variable, and on save have the tool to go and replace element with this variable name. I usually create scripts by hand, but I agree it would be very useful. Please create feature request.
